October is a finishing month. Salesforce connects through an External Client App with no package key, payouts reach partners earlier and nudge them only when they can act, and the review of a form submission no longer stops at Return.
Most of this release is the second pass on September: money that moves, partners who have to set themselves up to receive it, and reviews that have to end in a decision. Setting up Salesforce in minutes is the time to value bet, and everything else here is the same bet applied to the weeks after go-live.

Salesforce connects through an External Client App in the package

Introw now connects to Salesforce through an External Client App that ships inside the Introw package, replacing the connected app. Install the package, then choose Connect to Introw in the Introw Setup app in Salesforce. There is no OAuth app to approve first, no card key to connect, and Introw refuses an authorization from the wrong Salesforce org. An org on the older connected app moves in place with the same two steps, mappings kept, and you can rotate the package key yourself. Admins connect in minutes, which is the time to value bet. See Connect Salesforce, Embed Introw in Salesforce and Salesforce permissions and scopes.

Partners see a payout as soon as it leaves Draft

Only Draft stays internal now. A payout in Pending approval, Approved or Blocked shows in the partner’s Commissions section, and your team’s comments on it show too unless you mark them internal. Partners stop asking where their money is, which keeps the portal and your internal stages on the same page, the CRM-native bet applied to payouts. See Payouts.

Payout reminders check the partner’s portal first

Remind partner goes out only when the partner can act on it. If the portal has no Payout setup section, or the champion cannot open its tab, the payout offers Add payout setup or Manage tab access and Change champion instead of sending an email that leads nowhere. The email opens the right tab with setup open, which is the work-where-you-are bet. See Get partners ready to be paid. Payout setup now starts with Business details, then the method, then the payout terms. The details prefill Stripe and print in a From block on the statement. Bank transfer via Stripe is marked Recommended, and PayPal shows Coming soon.

Revert a commission import in one step

Revert on the Imports tab voids every line a file created, frees its row IDs and keeps the import as Reverted. A corrected file can then book the same rows again, instead of skipping rows one by one, which is the low total cost of ownership bet. See Import commissions from a file.

Fix a submission in place and finish the review

On a form without an approval gate, saving an edited submission resubmits it as Auto accepted and sends the corrected values to your CRM. With a gate, the Accept dialog opens for the approvers of the current step, and Accept, Decline and Return show only to them. A typo no longer bounces through Return, which is the low total cost of ownership bet. See Submissions and approvals. The variable list has a new Links group: the portal link, a collaboration link, a task link, and the form or course links you pick. On a form or course trigger, Current form and Current course point at the one the run is about. A message sends the partner straight to the right place, which is the work-where-you-are bet. See Workflows.

A rebuilt view for shared deals

A shared deal opens in one view with a new header: breadcrumbs, Previous and Next arrows between the rows of the list you came from, and View in your CRM. Partners and reps keep their place in a long pipeline, which is the work-where-you-are bet. See Collaborate on a shared deal.
