How it works

An enrollment puts a partner into a course. There are two ways to create them:
  • Manually - pick specific partners and enroll them, optionally notifying them.
  • Automatically - turn on auto-enrollment for a course and attach one or more segments; every partner in those segments is enrolled, and new partners are enrolled as they join the segment. Before you save, you can preview how many partners a segment will reach.
Each course can carry a due date, and you can nudge learners who haven’t finished from the course’s tracking view. Enrollment and progress flow back to your CRM automatically (see Progress Tracking).

Prerequisites

  • Write access to Courses to manage enrollment.
  • For auto-enrollment, Segments must be defined first.
  • Notifications (email / Slack) configured to deliver enrollment alerts and nudges.
  • A role limited to “own partners only” auto-enrolls just the partners that user manages.

Settings & configuration

Enrollment settings live in the Update course dialog, plus a notify option in the manual enroll dialog.

Enrollment tab

Enable automatic enrollment is off by default; when you turn it on, partners in the segments you choose are enrolled automatically and stay enrolled as new partners join those segments. Segments is where you pick which segments’ partners get auto-enrolled - it only applies while automatic enrollment is on, and you can preview the reach before saving.

Advanced tab

Due date is off by default and sets a completion deadline. Choose Relative - a number of Days / Weeks / Months / Years after enrollment, so each partner gets the same window from when they start - or a Fixed date that’s the same for everyone.

When enrolling manually

Notify is off by default and controls whether each partner gets an enrollment notification when you enroll them by hand.

Setup walkthrough

1

Decide manual vs automatic

For a fixed cohort, enroll partners by hand. For ongoing onboarding, use auto-enrollment by segment.
2

Attach segments (automatic)

Open Update course → Enrollment, enable automatic enrollment, and select the segments to target.
3

Set a due date (optional)

In Update course → Advanced, turn on a due date and pick Relative or Fixed.
4

Nudge as needed

From the course’s tracking view, select learners who haven’t completed and send a nudge.

How-to guides

Configure enrollment rules for a course

Auto-enroll the right segments and set a completion deadline so training targets itself and lands on time.

Manually enroll partners in a course

Enroll a hand-picked cohort into a course, with an optional enrollment notification.

Nudge incomplete learners

Remind partners who have not finished a course, in a couple of clicks, through the channels they already use.

Limits & gotchas

Auto-enrollment is based on segment membership - removing a partner from a segment does not unenroll them from courses they were already placed in. Users restricted to “own partners only” will auto-enroll just their partners, so the reach preview differs by role. Enrollment emails and nudges need notification channels configured.

Troubleshooting

  • Partners not auto-enrolling - confirm automatic enrollment is on, the right segments are attached, and the partners actually match.
  • No enrollment email - Notify was off when enrolling, or notification channels aren’t set up.
  • Reach count looks low - the acting user may be scoped to their own partners only.
