Open in Introw: Notification settings

How it works

Introw sends partner notifications across channels: email, plus Slack and Microsoft Teams when those integrations are connected. Some notifications are event-driven (a registration approved, a deal update, a new announcement), and some are automatic nudges on open deals. You choose which notifications are on, who receives them, and on which channels. Many emails also support reply-by-email so partners can respond without opening the portal. Delivery depends on a valid email address (and, for chat, a connected workspace), so most delivery issues come down to address or connection problems.

What you can configure

On Notification settings, partner notifications are grouped so you can scan and toggle them by area:
  • Pipeline - object and revenue updates for matched partners. These are grouped per CRM object you sync (for example deal updates), so you can grant or revoke a whole object’s notifications at once.
  • Portal activity - announcements, comments, and mentions in the portal.
  • Submissions - form submission outcomes (accepted, declined, returned).
  • Tasks - task assignments and reminder nudges.
  • Learning - course enrollment, certificates, and goal nudges.
For each notification you choose the channel, Mail and/or Chat, where Chat uses your connected Slack or Microsoft Teams workspace. Some notifications (task reminder nudges, learning emails, and system messages) are email-only. Open a notification’s detail page to limit delivery with Segments, which restricts it to a chosen partner audience (a partner in any of the chosen segments receives it); leave segments empty to reach all eligible partners. Automatic deal nudges remind partners about open deals that have gone quiet. After enabling a notification, the Last sent column and Insights confirm it is firing.

Prerequisites

  • Partners synced with valid email addresses.
  • For chat delivery, the Slack or Microsoft Teams integration connected.
  • Permission to manage notification settings.

Settings & configuration

Notification settings live under Notification settings in Introw. Notification types turn individual notifications on or off, such as deal updates, approvals, announcements, and payout-ready alerts. Channels choose where each notification goes: email, Slack, or Teams. Chat channels require the matching integration. Automatic deal nudges remind partners about open deals that need attention; configure whether and when they send. Segments on each notification’s detail page limit delivery to specific partner audiences; a partner in any of the chosen segments receives it, and leaving it empty reaches all eligible partners. A segment can also override notification behavior for its own audience on its notifications tab; when a contact belongs to several segments, the most allowing override wins, so a notification enabled in any of their segments reaches them. See Segments.

How-to guides

Configure partner notifications by email

Choose which partner notifications go out by email, scope them to the right partners, and turn on reply-by-email so partners respond from their inbox.

Configure partner notifications in Microsoft Teams

Enable the right partner notifications on Chat so Introw posts them to each partner’s mapped Microsoft Teams channel, and scope who receives them.

Configure partner notifications in Slack

Enable the right partner notifications on Chat so Introw posts them to each partner’s mapped Slack channel, and scope who receives them.

Nudge stalled deals automatically

Set up the Sleeping deal notification so partners are automatically reminded when a deal sits too long in a stage, keeping your pipeline moving.

Troubleshoot partner email delivery

Work through the usual causes when a partner says they did not get an email or invite: the address, the notification setting, spam and domain filtering, then resend.

Limits & gotchas

Chat notifications require the Slack or Teams integration to be connected; without it, only email is available. Partners only receive email if they have a valid, verified address. Turning on too many notifications can overwhelm partners, so enable the ones that drive action.

Troubleshooting

  • A partner receives no emails - confirm the address is valid and verified, and see the email delivery guide.
  • Chat notifications are not arriving - confirm the Slack or Teams integration is connected and the partner is mapped.
  • Too many notifications - turn off lower-value types and keep the action-driving ones.
