Introw writes partner activity back to HubSpot as app events, HubSpot’s term for timeline events a connected app publishes. Partner engagement therefore appears on the company and contact timeline as first-class activity and can feed HubSpot reports and workflows, which puts partner-influenced activity in the same place leadership already reviews direct pipeline. Importantly, these events fire automatically from Introw whenever HubSpot is connected with the right permissions - there is no toggle to switch them on. This guide shows how to confirm they flow and how to use them once they do.

What you’ll achieve

Partner activity such as portal visits, comments, asset views, object updates, and form submissions showing up as Introw app events on the linked company and contact timelines in HubSpot, available to build reports and trigger workflows, with no manual enabling.

The app events Introw publishes

Six events, each written twice: once against the partner’s contact and once against their company, so you can report at either grain.

Before you start

1

Connect HubSpot

HubSpot must be connected. See Connect HubSpot as your source of truth.
2

Understand what controls the events

Whether app events appear is governed by the HubSpot app being installed with current scopes, not by an Introw setting. Events are written for partner-contact activity (a partner acting from a portal), associated to the contact and company in HubSpot.

Steps

1

Confirm the connection and scopes are current

Go to Integrations and confirm HubSpot shows as Connected. If the tile shows Update available or the header shows Install update, run it and re-authorize, so the app has the scopes it needs to write timeline events. There is no separate “app events” switch in Introw to turn on.
2

Let a partner generate activity

Partner activity flows automatically: when a partner visits a portal, comments, views an asset, has an object update, or submits a form, Introw writes the matching app event to HubSpot and associates it with the partner’s contact and company. No action is needed in Introw for each event.
3

Find the activity in HubSpot

In HubSpot, open a partner company or contact and look at the record timeline; the Introw app events appear there alongside other activity.
4

Build a report or workflow on the events

Use the Introw app events in HubSpot the same way you use any timeline activity: build a report to track partner engagement, or enroll on an event in a workflow to automate a follow-up.A few things this makes easy: a report on portal visits per partner to find the accounts going quiet, a workflow that enrolls on Form submitted to route a registration to the right AE, or a dashboard putting Deal closed won next to your direct pipeline so leadership sees partner-influenced revenue in the same view.

Verify it worked

Have a partner take an action from their portal (a visit or a comment), then open the linked HubSpot contact or company: the action shows as an Introw app event on the timeline, ready to use in reports and workflows.
