What you’ll achieve
A live Pipedrive connection where the right organizations appear as partners, new matching records sync automatically, and deals are attributed to the partner who influenced them via a custom property, so reporting and commissions run on real CRM data. Before you start
Enable Pipedrive on your plan
Pipedrive is a paid add-on and is off by default. If the Pipedrive tile does not appear on the Integrations page, contact Introw to enable it on your plan, then return here.
Pipedrive has a few limits the other CRMs do not: partners must be stored as the Organization object (custom objects are not available), attribution is custom-property only (no associations or relation tables), and there is no in-CRM embed - partners and your team work in Introw, Slack, or email rather than inside Pipedrive.
Steps
Connect the account
Open Integrations
Go to Integrations and stay on the CRM & Data category. If the Pipedrive tile is not visible, Pipedrive is not yet enabled on your plan - contact Introw before continuing.
Start the Pipedrive connection
On the Pipedrive tile select Connect, which opens Pipedrive’s OAuth screen.
Tell Introw how partners are stored
Confirm the partner object
The wizard opens on How do you store partners in your CRM?.
- Partner object - on Pipedrive this is fixed to Organization; custom objects are not available, so partners must live as organizations. Confirm the selection.
Find the partners that should sync
Open the find-partners step
The wizard moves to Find partners in your CRM, where you scope which organizations import as partners.
- Filters - narrow organizations by a Pipedrive property (for example a partner-type field) so only matching records become partners. The count at the top shows how many were found.
- Selection - bring in all matching records or hand-pick specific ones.
Turn on automatic sync
When all records behind a filter are selected, enable Automatically sync new partners so new organizations matching the filter become partners automatically. Without a filter, automatic sync stays off.
Link objects to partners (attribution)
Open object linking
The wizard moves to Which objects do you link with partners? (the Object Linking screen). Select Add object to add a mapping.
Pick the object and the property
For each object choose Which object do you link with partners? and then how it links:
- Object - the object to attribute: Deal, Person, or Organization. Configure Deal at minimum, since it is what reporting and commissions run on and the wizard treats it as the completion step.
- Custom properties - the only attribution method on Pipedrive. Pick the Pipedrive property that records which partner influenced the deal. There are no associations or relation tables on Pipedrive, so plan to maintain a partner property on your deals.
Name the attribution and save
Set What name do you want to use for this attribution? so the link reads clearly, then select Add [object] attribution. Repeat for persons or organizations if you want them credited.
Keep the connection healthy
Watch the connection status
On the connected Pipedrive detail page the header shows green Connected by [name] when healthy, amber Syncing during a sync, or red Connection has been interrupted when it needs attention. If interrupted, select Reconnect. Pipedrive has no managed package or scope updates to install.
Verify it worked
Pipedrive shows as Connected on the Integrations page, your filtered organizations appear as partners, and a partner-influenced deal shows attributed to the right partner via the property you chose. New organizations matching your filter sync in automatically if you enabled automatic sync.Related
