Open in Introw: Partners

How it works

A task is a single to-do assigned to a partner or to your own team, with an owner, a due date, and a status. You create tasks directly on a partner, or they appear when you Apply a journey, a reusable checklist built under Journeys. Partners see their tasks in the portal and complete them there. Journeys own the repeatable playbook (onboarding, activation, certification). Tasks are the individual steps inside it. See Journeys to build and apply a journey; use this feature for one-off tasks, automation, and showing tasks in the portal.

Prerequisites

  • Partners synced into Introw.
  • Permission to manage partners and tasks.
  • To show tasks in the portal, a published experience.

Settings & configuration

Tasks are managed from the partner area and the experience builder. Tasks are created with an owner, due date, and description, and assigned to a partner or a team member from the partner’s Tasks tab. Portal display shows a partner their tasks inside an experience by adding a tasks block.

Setup walkthrough

1

Open Partners

Go to Partners.
2

Create a task

Open a partner, go to Tasks, and add a task with an owner and due date.
3

Or apply a journey

For a repeatable checklist, build a journey under Journeys and Apply it to partners.
4

Show tasks in the portal

Add a tasks block to a partner experience so contacts see their list.

How-to guides

Create and show partner tasks

Create a one-off task on a partner with the right owner, due date, visibility, and auto-complete action, then surface it in the partner portal.

Limits & gotchas

Applying a journey creates its full set of tasks for each partner, so review the journey before broad use. Tasks only appear to a partner in the portal if you add a tasks block to an experience they can see.

Troubleshooting

  • A partner sees no tasks in the portal - confirm tasks are assigned and a tasks block is on a published experience they can access.
  • An automated task did not appear - check the automation trigger fired.
