Open in Introw: Pipeline

How it works

On a shared deal or CRM record, you add tasks that capture the next steps in the co-sell. Each task has an owner (your rep or the partner), a due date, and a status. Both sides see the tasks on the record they collaborate on, including from the CRM card, and notifications flag tasks that are due or overdue. Tasks sit alongside comments and collaborators on the shared record, so they are part of the same collaboration surface rather than a separate tool.

Prerequisites

  • A shared deal or record with the partner. See Shared pipelines.
  • Permission to collaborate on the record.

Settings & configuration

Tasks are managed on the shared record. Add a task - create a task on the deal or record with a description. Owner - assign the task to your rep or to the partner, so responsibility is explicit. Due date - set when the task is due; this drives reminders. Notifications - choose whether owners are notified when a task is assigned, due, or changed. Chat notifications require the Slack or Teams integration.

How-to guides

Run tasks on a shared deal

Add a task to a shared deal, assign it to your rep or the partner with a due date, and turn on the notifications that keep both sides on schedule.

Limits & gotchas

Tasks on a shared record are visible to the collaborators on that record, so only assign partner-owned tasks to partners you have shared the deal with. Chat reminders require the Slack or Teams integration; without it, reminders are email-based.

Troubleshooting

  • The partner cannot see a task - confirm the deal is shared with that partner.
  • No reminder was sent - confirm a due date is set and notifications are enabled.
  • A task is on the wrong record - tasks belong to the record they were created on; recreate it on the correct deal.
