# Collaborate from Salesforce opportunities and cases

> Use the Introw collaboration panel on a Salesforce opportunity or case to share the record with a partner and exchange comments and updates without ever leaving your CRM.

The **Introw collaboration** panel on a Salesforce opportunity or case lets a rep share the record with the partner and exchange comments right where they already work. It is the Salesforce equivalent of the Introw app card on a HubSpot deal, with the same partner tile, the same actions, and the same conversation underneath, so a rep who moves between the two CRMs works the same way in both. The partner sees the shared record and replies from their portal, so the back-and-forth stays attached to the opportunity instead of scattering across email threads.

<Frame caption="The panel sits beside the record's own details, so the partner is part of the opportunity rather than a tab somewhere else.">

## What you'll achieve

A live collaboration thread between your rep and a partner, anchored to a Salesforce opportunity or case: the partner is a collaborator, comments flow both ways, and your rep drives all of it from the Salesforce record, without opening Introw.

## Before you start

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add the Introw collaboration panel">
    The panel must be on the opportunity and case record page, and you must hold the **Introw Collaboration User** permission set. See [Embed Introw in Salesforce](./embed-introw-in-salesforce).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Have a partner to share with">
    The partner you want to collaborate with should exist in Introw so you can select them.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Steps

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the record and find the panel">
    In Salesforce, open the opportunity or case and find **Introw collaboration** on the record page. If a partner is already attributed, the panel shows the partner, their tier, your own team on the account, the collaborators, and the champion. If none is linked yet, it reads **No partner involved yet** and offers to share the record so you can bring a partner in.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Share the record with a partner">
    Select **Share opportunity** (or **Share case**) and choose the partner to collaborate with. Sharing is what gives the partner visibility of this record in their portal and adds them as a collaborator. Choose deliberately, since the partner will see the record you share.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Collaborate and comment">
    Select **Collaborate** to open the conversation in a window on top of the record, then post a comment. The partner is notified and replies from their portal, and their replies appear back on the panel, so the thread stays attached to the Salesforce record. Use **Ask AI** for a summary or a draft, **View portal** to jump to the partner's portal for this record, and **Create portal** if the partner has no portal yet.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Verify it worked

The partner appears under **Collaborators** on the **Introw collaboration** panel, your comment shows in the thread, and when the partner replies from their portal the reply appears on the Salesforce record without anyone leaving their own tool.
